Asakusa – Amusement Park Hanayashiki

Hanayashiki is the oldest Amusement Park in Japan! The park originally opened as a flower park in 1853 and slowly became an Amusement Park with about 20 attractions. It’s a charmingly decorated park, however keep in mind that it’s not that exciting for adults, as most of the attractions are build for kids. They do have awesome haunted houses and several restaurants.

Hanayashiki is easy to reach in just a short 5 minute walk from Asakusa Station. Admission fee is 1000 yen for Adults (13+) and 500 yen for kids (7 – 12). Free admission for kids of 0 – 6.
You’ll have to buy tickets for each attraction once you entered the park or you can buy a “Free Ride Pass” for 2300 yen.
