This station is a stop on the JR Yamanote Line, Ikegami Line and the Toei Asakusa Line. The station offers some bakery shops, Uniqlo and Department Store “Remy” which has clothing shops, restaurants and interesting, traditional Japanese and Western gift-shops. There is also a huge book store, supermarket, Starbucks, a massage and manicure salon and “Zoff” to buy some cheap but great quality glasses (which are finished and ready to pickup in 1 hour)! Around the station you can find Tsutaya, Book Off, game centers, karaoke and of course, restaurants.
Gotanda Station is not a “must visit” but it’s a very convenient station, where people often need to switch trains. Nearby is also Ikedayama Park, which is a great place to spend your Sunday afternoon.
